Matt Powers

STRATEGY & PLANNING DIRECTOR

Matt has spent his career focused on developing and executing operational strategies across sectors. Matt began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he worked with the firm’s largest clients and built complex trading infrastructure across the derivatives business. Then as one of the earliest employees at Uber, he was a general manager in New York responsible for operations, strategy, marketing, and public affairs of the company's largest market.

He also spent time at WeWork where he scaled the Labs program across the US and Canada, building the world’s largest startup ecosystem and then as Global Head of Business Operations for WeWork’s flexible work space and digital products. Matt's most recent role is at Harness Wealth, a fast-growing financial technology company, where he sits on the executive team and is responsible for growing the firm's tax business.
