For over a decade, Dave has immersed himself in the legislative process at the local, state and federal levels. Whether it was with Uber, on Capitol Hill, or with one of DC’s preeminent lobbying firms, Dave has been at the nexus between innovation and regulation.

As one of Uber’s first public policy hires, he oversaw lobbying initiatives in over 30 states and helped the company scale their public policy efforts in strategic markets during a period of hyper growth. Dave coordinated efforts that directly led to the passage of 15 state bills and local ordinances creating a permanent regulatory framework for ride-sharing. He leverages his background in government and in the private sector to help companies enact smart regulations for new and novel business concepts that are bolstered by holistic community and grassroots engagement campaigns.
